Planning your visit

Norwich has more medieval churches than any other city in Northern Europe and beyond the city limits, the county of Norfolk’s great houses and medieval villages provide their own historical and architectural interest. Norfolk has a spectacular coastline strewn with blue flag beaches.

Perhaps you’d like to plan a weekend break or longer around one of our writing workshops or events? The city is a haven for writers – full of independent coffee shops & cafes and regular pop-up art exhibitions and vintage markets housed in the medieval churches.  Further afield don’t miss beautiful seaside villages such as Blakeney, Cley and Wells and larger towns such as Cromer and Sheringham.
