This month’s free resources pack is all about EDITING. We’ve got detailed conversations with editors Ella Micheler and Hannah Chukwu and Mary Paulson-Ellis has shared insight into the editing process. Before working with an editor you’ll need to edit your own work, which for newer writers can be a daunting and uncomfortable task. Cutting words, sentences or even entire chapters, characters and sub-plots is a challenge after spending so much time crafting them in the first place.

In this video, Simon demonstrates how you can make real improvements to your first draft through simple self-editing techniques.
